Adam is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He has released a dozen recordings of original music—some with words, some without. He is perhaps best known for his past work with Norah Jones’ —playing on Jones' 2002 breakout Come Away with Me and her next two albums as well. He has also recorded with Tracy Chapman, Ani DiFranco, Vulfpeck, Meshell Ndegeocello, Allen Toussaint, and many other esteemed artists.


Adam has authored several instructional books and video courses. He teaches one-on-one lessons privately at his studio in Los Angeles and worldwide via Skype. He has also taught at Los Angeles College of Music, USC, and NYU. His popular YouTube series, Guitar Tips, was launched in 2014.


Adam has written dozens of feature articles for Guitar PlayerAcoustic Guitar, Fretboard Journal, and other guitar-centric magazines. Once in awhile, they even write about him.
